Job Title: Crane Operator
Job Description
The crane operator will be working in a large metal warehouse responsible for receiving, shipping, and setting up the operators with the materials needed. They will operate the overhead cranes and forklifts to move the metal. Learning and properly implementing loading, rigging, and operation procedures. Product knowledge and attention to detail is an important facet to follow customer specifications. This equipment and metal are large in size and value so quality and safety are extremely important when operating the equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move metal.
Receive, ship, and set up materials for operators.
Learn and implement loading, rigging, and operation procedures.
Ensure product knowledge and attention to detail to follow customer specifications.
Maintain quality and safety standards while operating equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of combined education or work experience in crane operation
Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience
Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
High School Diploma or GED is required
Work Environment
2nd Shift, 2:45pm-10:45pm. Train on 1st Shift for 3-6 months. Must be comfortable working overtime, with expected hours of 50-60 hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50/hr.
