Robert Half Medical Billing Specialist in Floyds Knobs, Indiana
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment, where your main task will be to ensure efficient and accurate processing of medical billing tasks and customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process medical billing tasks using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR SYSTEM, Epaces, and other relevant systems
• Coordinate and manage accounts receivable operations to ensure timely and accurate billing
• Conduct detailed claim administration and appeals to ensure accurate reimbursements
• Handle customer inquiries regarding their billing and account status
• Maintain and update accurate customer credit records to ensure accurate billing
• Perform benefit and billing functions efficiently to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions as required
• Collaborate with the team to resolve any issues related to medical billing. Requirements • Proficiency in using Allscripts software
• Familiarity with Cerner Technologies
• Experience in Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)
• Ability to handle EHR SYSTEM
• Knowledge in using Epaces software
• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Experience in handling Appeals in medical billing
• Understanding of Benefit Functions in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in Billing Functions in medical billing
• Experience in Claim Administration in a healthcare environment
