Sodexo Director II, Supply Finance Reporting & Analytics in Georgetown, Kentucky
Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Director 2, Service Operations Finance professional to support our North American Supply Management Organization.
Reporting directly to the VP, Finance for Supply Management and Projects, this position will:
Manage and lead the budgeting and forecasting of Supply Management Vendor Income, annual supply management savings, and SGA expenses.
Co-acting with Segment Finance, Region Finance FP&A, Treasury, Entegra, SodexoLive! and Food Transformation, work on initiatives to optimize profitability and cash flow.
Collaborate and advise from a commercial perspective with Supply management leadership and suppliers/distributors on contract negotiations related to pricing, terms, efficiency metrics and vendor discount allowances.
Report on inflation and impact on spend and VDA, and develop market indices to benchmark internal efficiencies managing inflation.
Advise, consult and communicate in the highly matrixed Supply organization with senior leaders.
Supervise/direct two managers and lead team of 20+ finance professionals ensuring relevant career development and skill sets to support the function in the Supply Management Transformation.
What You'll Do
Responsible for and manages Supply Management NorAm budget and forecast processes: segment usage allowances; administrative overhead expenses; development of complex models that are driven by operational inputs
Directs and lead processes to track and report on NorAm Supply Chain value via Global scorecard reporting; including general compliance measurements, inflation and more complex Supply Chain KPI's with visibility of flow through to P&L
Responsible for Management Reporting, Forecasting and Planning of Supply Management VDAs and savings to Supply Management Leadership Team, Segments, and Service Operations, Transversal Finance Teams and Global Supply Chain
Lead the accounting and allocation of all VDAs down to unit level for Sodexo and Entegra; includes system generated invoices and accruals as well as manual allowances
Manages the collection of outstanding AR invoices and accruals; perform initial reach out to suppliers that are delinquent with payments due to Sodexo and then Supply Management in working with suppliers on collections
Advises, collaborates and works directly with US and Global Supply Management groups to provide financial modeling and commercial support to all facets of the business: spend analysis, RFPs, eProcurement, acquisitions, participation on sub-committees to develop policies, diverse spend reporting
Directs, leads, drive and/or delegates price variance audit and product/vendor compliance processes, including implementation plans from internal and external audits

What You Bring
10+ years of experience in Finance
Successful business partnering and impactful influencing with VP/executive level stakeholders
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including oral & written as well as interpersonal skills
Strong drive, ability to connect to the changing needs of the business and forward thinking in creation of solution development
Demonstrate knowledge of global and corporate business context particularly with market economics and impact on Food and Facilities Management
Experience as member of leadership team in Finance and proven ability to influence the direction of business area within region and global supply management organization
Certified/Qualified Finance Professional or equivalent working experience
Bachelor's Degree
Able to demonstrate focused and driven leadership skills to local and wider team
