Robert Half Project Manager - Non IT 3 in Georgetown, Kentucky
Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate non-IT projects in areas such as engineering, product development, financial systems, and other specialized fields. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, meet organizational goals, and align with strategic priorities. This position is based in Georgetown, Kentucky, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed project plans and coordinate activities to achieve specified goals within established timelines.
• Communicate findings, proposals, and project updates to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Lead recruitment efforts, delegate tasks, evaluate team performance, and foster growth within the project team.
• Assess resource requirements, analyze feasibility, and align projects with market demands and organizational capabilities.
• Collaborate with management, production, and marketing teams to define project specifications and establish procedures.
• Review, negotiate, and approve contracts, budgets, and cost estimates to ensure financial efficiency.
• Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to maintain project momentum and quality.
• Oversee compliance with safety standards, including OSHA regulations, to ensure a secure work environment.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and PowerPoint to track progress and facilitate communication. Requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Must have OSHA 30
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and lead cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost management strategies.
• Expertise in strategic planning, resource allocation, and efficient manufacturing and distribution techniques.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant project management experience.
