Aerotek Service Technician in Georgetown, Kentucky
Job Title: Service Technician
Job Description
You will be servicing the Central KY area for approximately 50-75 clients by installing, troubleshooting, and repairing overhead doors and loading docks for commercial and industrial customers. This role involves traveling to site locations in a company truck (you will not be driving for the first 90 days but must be able to pass a driving check for DOT). Typical hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the requirement to work at least one Saturday per month and occasionally on Sunday.
Responsibilities
Evaluate faulty equipment and perform tasks necessary to ensure proper operation.
Maintain records of all service work and repairs performed within the electronic service record.
Work with the Operations Manager to maximize labor revenue and efficiency.
Maintain a clean driving record and drive safely from customer to customer.
Communicate with the parts and sales departments to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner.
Perform work in a variety of environments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including motor controls and 480V, specifically in commercial/industrial settings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact with clients and represent the company in a positive manner.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous service work experience is ideal.
Preferred experience with overhead door and/or loading dock service.
Experience in a lead role is highly desirable.

Work Environment
The role involves daily travel and working outdoors much of the time. You may be required to work on ladders up to 40 ft. and lift up to 100 lbs. (with lifters and hoists available for assistance). The company truck must be maintained and is not available for personal use.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15080.00 - $20000.00/yr.
