Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Jeffersonville, Indiana
Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Jeffersonville, Indiana. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing billing, reconciling accounts, and ensuring cash applications are processed accurately and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while utilizing your expertise in accounts receivable processes.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage invoices to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle cash applications and allocate payments to appropriate accounts.
• Conduct cash collections and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Perform commercial collections while maintaining a meticulous approach.
• Generate regular reports and provide updates on accounts receivable status.
• Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve billing issues.
• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage records.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
• Assist with other accounts receivable tasks as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Familiarity with cash applications and cash collections processes.
• Experience with commercial collections in a setting requiring strong attention to detail.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
