Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Fulfillment Specialist to manage the medication and specialty pharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. This role involves processing pharmacy orders and managing inventory to guarantee the proper storage and handling of drugs and supplies.
Responsibilities
Process pharmacy orders, ensuring all necessary items are included.
Perform drug and supply ordering and manage inventory efficiently.
Ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies, including refrigeration of perishable products.
Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment as needed to maintain optimal function.
Essential Skills
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Pharmacy experience or packing medication experience is essential.
Ability to lift 35lbs throughout the day.
Ability to remain on feet all day.
Attention to detail, with no room for error.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Pharmacy Technician Certification/Registration preferred, but not required.
Positive attitude and self-motivation are highly valued.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is beneficial.
Work Environment
This role is based in a closed-door pharmacy fulfillment site, working closely with pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians. The work hours are 5:30 am to 2 pm from Sunday to Thursday, with optional overtime available on weekends. There is an opportunity to be cross-trained as a pharmacy technician, requiring national certification for permanent positions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
