Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for loading raw materials, operating machinery, performing quality checks, and ensuring that daily production standards are met. This role involves handling fabric materials, unloading finished products, recycling excess materials, and assembling small components.
Responsibilities
Load raw material (fabric) into press machine (parts weigh less than 15 lbs).
Unload finished products.
Remove excess material and recycle (skeleton).
Perform quick visual quality checks.
Assemble small components into fabric.
Work to ensure daily production standards are met.
Essential Skills
Ability to operate production machinery.
Experience with loading and unloading materials.
Proficiency in performing quality checks.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic computer skills, including Windows.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED suggested but not required.
Forklift operation experience is a plus.
Experience in data center operations.

We offer an 8-hour shift, with extra days worked instead of longer days, which is unique in this area. Employees receive double time pay for Sundays (or Saturday night for third shift).
Work Environment
Our modern manufacturing facility is fully automated, reducing the need for heavy lifting. The environment is fast-paced and clean, but it can be hot in the summer. We have implemented numerous policies to ensure a safe working environment. Employees may be occasionally exposed to airborne particles and the noise level can be moderate to high. Regular communication is required during the performance of duties.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of JEFFERSONVILLE, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.00/hr.
