As a Specialty Fulfillment Pharmacist , you'll primarily be responsible for performing the final quality check on our members' prescription orders, assisting in all areas of Pharmacy Fulfillment, and acting as a resource for the entire Fulfillment Team while also flexing to support other operational duties as assigned by pharmacy leadership.

Hours for this role are: Monday - Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm. Some occasional overtime and minimal weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform final verification of dispensed prescriptions prior to orders being packed and shipped

• Oversees the activities of pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other personnel

• Organizes workload, sets priorities, completes assignments in a timely manner

• Utilizes resources appropriately while complying with department program standards

• Performs all duties and functions in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations

• Assist Pharmacy Manager and/or Pharmacist-in-Charge in various projects as needed

• Conforms with and supports department quality assurance and improvement guidelines

• Ability to flex into all operational areas pharmacy, including inventory, picking, and packing

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Pharmacy and/or PharmD

• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the State in which the pharmacy is located

• 1+ years of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist

• Ability to demonstrate creating a culture of collaboration, recognition, inclusiveness and diversity

• Ability to navigate MS Office and a Windows based environment and the ability to create, edit, save, and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word

• Ability to navigate Outlook and conduct Internet searches

• Able to work the designated shift and flexible hours

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Strong teamwork and cooperation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a mail order setting

The hourly range for this role is $43.17 to $84.95 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
