Job Title: 2nd Shift Printer OperatorJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Printer Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for paper feed tests and operating printers to ensure product assurance. You will be working with prototype development products for test purposes, which includes loading paper, removing copies, documenting and clearing problems, and entering data into a PC. Your insights on product performance will be invaluable to our test engineers.
Responsibilities
Operate prototype development products for test purposes
Load paper and remove copies from printers
Document and clear printer problems
Enter data into a PC
Provide input to test engineers on product performance
Conduct paper feed reliability tests
Ensure print/copy quality and printer robustness
Test competitive printer products
Perform sub-system testing
Carry out printhead/cartridge yield and reliability testing
Review output for defects
Essential Skills
Ability to lift large paper boxes (up to 50 pounds)
Attention to detail
Basic computer skills, including the use of a mouse
Good attendance and reliability
Experience with repetitive motions
Job history that involves standing on feet for long shifts
Longevity in employment history
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with reliability testing
Basic technician skills
Experience with inserter machines
Work Environment
You will be working in a controlled and clean lab environment. The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, from 4 PM to 2:30 AM. Candidates must be able to train on the 1st shift. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.42 - $15.42/hr.
