Description
We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Lexington, Kentucky. The role primarily involves the meticulous management of client trust funds and fostering effective communication with clients. As an Accounting Assistant, you will also contribute to the enhancement of our operational efficiency by utilizing our trust management software for financial data management and CRM software implementation.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring precise and efficient processing of client distribution requests.
• Accurately record daily financial transactions and monitor bank accounts, including checking and wealth management.
• Oversee True Link Card accounts and set up payrolls for individual client accounts as required.
• Prepare comprehensive quarterly reports for clients and assist in the preparation of year-end tax reports for client accounts.
• Calculate and manage trusts fees and wealth management fees.
• Communicate trust account balances to clients and their families via phone and email.
• Assist in preparing for Board of Directors meetings.
• Implement and manage CRM software to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must.
• Familiarity with CaseWare software is necessary.
• Ability to use Concur for expense management is essential.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is expected.
• Understanding of various Accounting Functions is crucial.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) processes is required.
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Prior experience in Auditing is a significant advantage.
• Ability to handle Bank Reconciliations is essential.
