Administrative Assistant
Full-Time I First Shift
Emergency Department I Lexington, KY
An Emergency department (ED) that provides 24-hour emergency care to patients who need urgent medical attention for severe injuries or illness.
Description:
- Provide secretarial and secretarial support to Executive Director performing a wide variety of duties and responsibilities as well as project assignments.
- Monitor trends and report to management team.
- Assist in the preparation and compilation of reports.
- Maintains meeting minute documentation and email distribution list.
- Ensures compliance with mandatory requirements.
- Liaison to materials and purchasing for departmental patient care and office supplies.
- Track and follow up on timely delivery of supplies and materials.
- Assists Director in ensuring appropriate budgetary charges.
- Forms controller for changes, supply.
- Facilitate both internal and external work orders.
- Serves as departmental expert for API.
- Maintains and corrects payroll issues daily.
- Maintains attendance records and reports to Executive Director.
- Facilitates internal and external work orders.
- Assists the Executive Director in providing resolution of environment of care issues.
- Ensures invoices are genuine.
- Processes invoices to be paid in Peoplesoft.
- Follows up on any issues related to accounts payable
- Supports the Executive Director with budgetary concerns related to accounts payable.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments in a dynamic workspace.
