Job Summary | The Executive Director of the Human Development Institute (HDI) will provide visionary leadership, strategic oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration to advance the institute’s mission. The Executive Director will drive HDI’s mission forward, ensuring impactful research and innovation in the field of disabilities. This role encompasses three core areas of responsibility:

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Qualified candidates will have a terminal Degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience in human development and/or developmental disabilities field. Candidates should have an established research activity and publication portfolio, budget management experience, excellent communication skills, and leadership experience. In addition, candidates will have a proven track record of securing research funding and conducting human development focused research. This role requires a proven leader with expertise in multidisciplinary research, financial stewardship, and strategic planning. This position will have a faculty appointment if the selected candidate’s prior work history, skills and qualifications align with the discipline specific unit missions. |
