Job Summary | Communicate and coordinate among clinical and animal studies, help experiment setup and cleanup. Maintenance of lab supplies, stock checking and ordering, help set up and cleanup before and after studies. Animal husbandry, peri-operation care and recording. Experience with rodent, piglet, or pig preferred. Processing of tissue samples, including animal perfusion, tissue collection, fixation, embedding, and slicing. Histological staining, including chemicals or immuno-staining of processed tissue samples. Basic data analysis and data entry. Assist in monitoring inventory of lab supplies. Purchase, organize and maintain supplies necessary for the conduct of research studies. Organize and maintain records according to established procedures. Photocopying, handling phone calls and general duties to provide upkeep for lab facility. |
