A global leader in energy management and automation is actively seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician-Engineer to join their team. This is a 7-month contract with potential for conversion, and is a Monday-Friday 1st shift role located in Lexington, KY.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and processes. Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering.
Experience with component replenishment / kanban / related material handling tasks.
Experience in a new product development environment or related stage gate process awareness.
Knowledge of verification and validation process / approvals process for new product development.
Experience in SAP production software.
What You Will Be Doing Responsibilities:
Participate in the process and manufacturing teams to implement the NAM.
Conduct research and studies on which sustainable packaging products are best suited for implementation at the local site, including coordinating formalized testing at laboratories.
Coordinate with manufacturing, process, SCH, procurement etc. on implementing new sustainable materials.
Conduct 3F and assist with FAIR reporting.
Assist with reporting to PP/PS Sustainability team on project updates and completions.
Conduct financial impacts per project, including cost analysis, cycle time analysis, etc.
