Pharmacy Technician
PRN I Second Shift
Pharmacy Services I Lexington, KY
The Department of Pharmacy Services of Baptist Health Lexington provides pharmaceutical services to patients across the continuum of care. These services include, but are not limited to verification of medication orders, drug distribution, sterile product preparation, hazardous drug preparation, and utilization of automated dispensing cabinets. In addition, decentralized pharmacists provide services such as management of pharmacy dosing consults, provision of drug information, therapeutic recommendations, and participation in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
Description:
- Accurately and efficiently processes and fills medication orders.
- Delivers medications from pharmacy to nursing units; returns items from nursing units as needed.
- Wholesale order processed and received correctly.
- Demonstrates leadership skills and critical thinking skills.
- Provides general assistance to pharmacist staff.
- Illustrates working knowledge of technology.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Required Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration certificate for Pharmacy Technician
