Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team! This role is ideal for someone looking to utilize their accounting knowledge and clerical skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for providing support with data entry, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and other financial tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
1+ years of experience in accounting or clerical roles (internships or entry-level experience will be considered).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar programs).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.
