Job Title : Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist
Louisville, KY || $20 an hour || 1st shift
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will manage the company’s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role is critical in maintaining smooth cash flow and fostering strong relationships with vendors and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Schedule and execute timely payments to vendors via checks, electronic transfers, or other methods.
Reconcile accounts payable records and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
Monitor and manage vendor contracts and payment terms.
Accounts Receivable
Generate and send invoices to customers, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
Track incoming payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
Prepare aging reports and provide insights on outstanding receivables.
General Duties
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices and financial workflows.
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
