Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Louisville, Kentucky
Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the real estate industry located in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. Your primary role will be to manage the financial tasks related to customer accounts, lease agreements, and monthly expenses. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming payments accurately and promptly
• Supervise outstanding balances and liaise with clients or partners regarding late payments
• Generate and scrutinize financial reports associated with accounts receivable activity
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Support with new leases and renewals, making sure contracts align with company policies and satisfy stakeholder needs
• Manage CAM (Common Area Maintenance) setups and confirm their accurate reflection in financial systems
• Monitor lease-related deadlines and documentation, guaranteeing seamless communication with tenants and stakeholders
• Check, audit, and handle monthly expense reports to support financial accuracy
• Resolve discrepancies in expense submissions and prepare data for financial analysis
• Collaborate with departments to ensure timely reporting and expense approvals
• Perform assigned administrative functions related to the role. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar position.
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Experience with Epic Software is highly desirable.
• Strong cash handling skills are required.
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of real estate industry is a plus.
