Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Job Description
This individual is expected to be able to setup, operate, and change over CNC machines. They will mainly operate milling machines, including brands such as Fidal, Blue Star, and Haas. The role requires basic math skills to calculate dimensions and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Responsibilities
Setup, operate, and change over CNC machines.
Operate milling machines including Fidal, Blue Star, and Haas.
Calculate dimensions and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Perform machine setups and changeovers.
Handle breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
Use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
Essential Skills
Experience with CNC machine operation, setup, and changeovers.
Basic math skills for calculating dimensions.
Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
Proficiency with measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
Strong attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred 3+ years of CNC Machine Operating experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Must have proper PPE (Steel toes, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, and metatarsals).

Work Environment
This is a metal fabrication environment that provides a full range of services including oxy fuel, plasma, laser, and band saw cutting. The environment can be loud, dirty, hot in the summer, and cold in the winter. Employees must be willing to work overtime if needed. The dress code includes steel toes, safety glasses, long sleeve shirts, and metatarsals, which can be provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
