Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
This role involves L1 commissioning in the field at various customer sites throughout the East Coast. The position requires performing remote I/O checks, setting up IP addresses for VFDs, verifying device communications to PLCs, and making basic edits to PLCs.
Responsibilities
Conduct L1 commissioning at customer sites.
Perform remote I/O checks and ensure system functionality.
Set up and configure IP addresses for VFDs.
Verify device communications with PLCs to ensure proper operation.
Perform basic edits and updates to PLCs.
Essential Skills
Commissioning experience in the field.
Proficiency in Rockwell Automation.
Experience with VFDs and PLCs.
Understanding of device communications.
Knowledge of conveyer systems and HMI.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Field service experience.
Work Environment
This is a travel role with a 10 on 4 off schedule, requiring work in the field at customer sites throughout the East Coast.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
