Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of all machinery in the plant, including rollers, conveyors, corrugators, slicers, benders, gear boxes, motors, panels, and more. The role involves responding to repair calls to troubleshoot breakdowns and following a preventative maintenance schedule. Electrical tasks include motor swaps, AC, DC, sensors, contactors, relays, and wiring.
Responsibilities
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on plant machinery.
Respond to repair calls and troubleshoot machinery breakdowns.
Perform electrical work including motor swaps, sensors, contactors, relays, and wiring.
Follow a preventative maintenance schedule diligently.
Essential Skills
Troubleshooting in an industrial maintenance setting with at least 2 years of experience.
Experience with preventative maintenance.
Mechanical troubleshooting and machine repair skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
PLC experience.
Electrical experience is preferred but not required.
Strong industrial mechanic experience.

Work Environment
The work environment consists of union shifts, likely on a 2nd or 3rd shift, with traditional hours of 3-11 and 11-7. It is a standard production environment without air conditioning, hot in the summer, but heated in the winter. The facility features a large open floor plan with well-lit, clean machinery, requiring employees to be comfortable with walking.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.78 - $34.30/hr.
