Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Maintenance Technicians for our 2nd and 3rd shifts who will play a key role in maintaining production and plant equipment. The role requires responding promptly to equipment issues and ensuring the completion of scheduled preventive maintenance programs. Technicians will work collaboratively with Mold Setters and other Operations departments to support facility upgrades and repairs while ensuring 5S standards are met in their areas of operation.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair injection molding equipment in an automotive industrial setting.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs and VFDs.
Install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Record and report scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
Support facility upgrades and collaborate with Mold Setters and Operations departments.
Ensure 5S standards are upheld in operational areas.
Conduct root cause analysis for equipment issues.
Respond quickly to equipment issues and engage with operations and mold setting teams.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming.
Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues in 24v dc, 120v, 240v, and 3-phase electronic circuits.
Experience with basic shop tools and high mechanical aptitude.
Capability to work in a matrix organization.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred: Journeyman Electrical License.
Experience with welding and maintaining diverse equipment such as light assembly, plastic welding technology, and injection molding machines.
Ability to pass a color acuity exam.

Work Environment
Work within a temperature-controlled unionized facility. The position includes a 25% shift differential and the ideal work schedule is 5-6 days a week. Available shifts are 2nd Shift from 2pm to 10:30pm and 3rd Shift from 10pm to 6:30am.

This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43472.00 - $62192.00/yr.
