Job Title: Material Handler
Weekly Pay || $17-$18 an hour || Louisville, KY
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with cherry picking, reach truck, or forklift operations, though training is available for the right candidate. Warehouse experience is beneficial. Candidates must be willing to train on an order picker (cherry picker) and should not be afraid of heights. Initially, you may be involved in hand picking, packing, or working in the shipping area. Once trained, the role will primarily involve operating a cherry picker and picking products for shipping, meeting the required picking rates.
Responsibilities
Operate cherry picker and pick products for shipping.
Hand pick, pack, and work in the shipping area until trained on equipment.
Build to the required picking rates.
Maintain picking and packing goals established by the client.
Work overtime each day if needed.
Essential Skills
Experience in picking, packing, or forklift operation is preferred.
Proficiency in RF scanning.
No fear of heights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.

Work Environment
The facility is a part distribution center for large cleaning/sweeping machines, equipment, and parts. It is not climate-controlled, so it can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter. If temperatures exceed 97 degrees, extra breaks, water, and popsicles are provided. The environment is not extremely fast-paced, but goals are expected. The dress code allows for shorts and tank tops. Trainers wear light blue shirts and leads wear dark blue shirts. 1st shifts start at 7am, 8am, and 10am, while 2nd shift starts at 1:30 PM. Break schedules are provided for each shift. Overtime may be required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
