We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled full-time Retail Pharmacist to join our exceptional team at our state-of-the-art healthcare facility located in Louisville, KY. 10:00 AM-7:00 PM
Weekend rotation! 1 Saturday per month
Education:
Pharm D or Bachelor of Science Degree in pharmacy
Two (2) years of Pharmacist experience
Current unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in good standing by the Indiana Board of Pharmacy
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations within the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow, meeting production targets, and maintaining accuracy in prescription processing to meet deadlines.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant accreditation standards, and adhere to local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations, including DEA policies, and operational procedures established by KnippeRx or applicable regulatory agencies.
Supervise Patient Care Coordinators, ensuring the precision of dispensing-related activities, adherence to delivery timelines, and effective implementation of safety protocols.
Support the development and performance of pharmacy staff through regular training, orientation, and ongoing guidance to enhance team effectiveness and ensure quality care.
Review all new medication orders for proper dosage, potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before medications are dispensed, ensuring patient safety.
Provide clear and accurate verbal or written consultation regarding both prescription and over-the-counter medications, including their storage, side effects, and potential drug interactions, to healthcare providers and patients.

Pay Details: $127,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
