Description We are currently recruiting for the role of a Staff Accountant based in Louisville, Kentucky. This position is crucial in supporting our financial operations, specifically in areas of account reconciliation, financial review, inventory management, and report generation. The successful candidate will be tasked with various responsibilities across different financial aspects within the organization, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and company protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate recording and reconciliation of journal entries as well as assigned accounts

• Assisting with detailed financial reviews on a monthly basis, focusing on LTC pharmacy acquisitions

• Coordinating balance sheet and bank reconciliations, coupled with trend analysis for all managed accounts

• Responsibility for the compilation, recording, and reconciliation of quarterly inventory counts for LTC pharmacy acquisitions

• Monitoring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the company's internal procedures

• Generating necessary reports and engaging in monthly accounting activities to guarantee a timely ledger close

• Researching and responding to information requests and issues involving specific general ledger accounts

• Facilitating the setup of vendors in Oracle Fusion when necessary. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a role as a Staff Accountant or similar position.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management is required.

• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations is essential.

• Proficiency in managing and maintaining the General Ledger is necessary.

• Skill in creating and maintaining Journal Entries is indispensable.

• Experience in performing Month End Close processes is necessary.

• Proficiency in using Oracle software for accounting purposes is required.
