Description We are providing a short term contract employment opportunity in New Albany, Indiana for an Accounting Clerk in the industry. The role revolves around maintaining the financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. As an Accounting Clerk, you'll have a significant role in the financial organization of our operations, contributing your expertise in accounts reconciliation, payable and receivable accounts, billing, and data entry.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and promptly process invoices
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure all financial data is up-to-date
• Perform account reconciliation tasks for customer and business accounts
• Handle billing issues and coordinate with teams to rectify any discrepancies
• Enter financial transactions data into the company's system, ensuring accuracy of all records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks
• Monitor and review customer accounts, taking necessary actions based on account status
• Maintain rigorous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial
• Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Familiarity with Billing processes is essential
• Must have experience in Data Entry
• Knowledge of Invoice Processing is important
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Familiarity with Oracle software systems is desirable
• Experience in QuickBooks is highly preferred
• SAP knowledge is a significant advantage
