Description
We are in need of an Accounting Manager to join our team located in New Albany, Indiana. This role is focused on managing various accounting functions. The position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial operations are compliant with regulations.
• Manage the accurate execution of billing functions.
• Utilize Sage Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks.
• Ensure the month-end close processes are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handle Fund Accounting in a non-profit setting.
Requirements • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficient in handling Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Auditing processes and procedures
• Expertise in Billing Functions
• Proficiency in using Sage Accounting Software
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in executing Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge in Fund Accounting for Non-Profit organizations
