Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Duties: - Perform general ledger accounting tasks, i.e. including journal entries and other tasks as requested. - Weekly Payroll - Accounts Receivables and Account Payables - Gather financial data and collaborate with Controller and President in decision-making processes - Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations - Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support Skills: To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles - Proficiency in cash flow analysis, corporate finance, and financial services - Knowledge of technical accounting standards and practices - Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables - Experience in general ledger accounting and account reconciliation - Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team - Proficient in using Sage 50 accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel) - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a desire to contribute to the success of our organization, we encourage you to apply for the position of Accounting Specialist.
